This list is a collection of common toxic plants. It is NOT a list of all poisonous plants. In some types of vegetation, only certain parts of the plants are toxic. In others, all parts are poisonous.
Ingestion causes a wide range of symptoms. These may included:
- mouth irritation
- drooling,
- vomiting,
- diarrhea,
- hallucinations,
- seizures, and
- coma.
If any of these symptoms occur, do not delay in getting your pet to a veterinarian. Even death can occur from nibbling any of the above plants.
