OAK HILL CEMETERY - EST ??

aka - TOWN CEMETERY Manchester Township, Boone County, Illinois

Oak Hill Cemetery is located in Manchester Township on Manchester Road about 2 miles from the county line. The cemetery lies on the south side of the road across from [and surrounded by] farm land. It is situated on a long and deep parcel of land. There is no road going in to the cemetery. Tire marks indicate that others have driven to the far end where the burials are located. There are scattered grave sites and broken stones. It is poorly maintained. The center section is supposed to contain several burials from an epidemic in the area, no stones exist of this event.
