PECATONICA CEMETERY - ESTPecatonica Township, Winnebago County, IllinoisPecatonica Cemetery and St. Mary's Cemetery lie in Pecatonica Township. They lie on the south side of ** Road just west of Pecatonica. From 1866 til 1931, the cemetery was called Lysander Cemetery. In 1931 and 1932, two new cemeteries were formed. It is very well maintained with many war emblems near the markers. It is still in use today. The road into the cemetery has two names on the sign. When you drive into the cemetery, you must remember that one cemetery lies on one side and the other is on the other side of the main drive.
