OAKWOOD CEMETERY - EST 1866

Sharon Township, Walworth County, Wisconsin

Oakwood Cemetery is located north of the Village of Sharon, Wisconsin. Take County C north and turn west on Cemetery Road. Go about 1/4 mile. It lies on the north side of the road. It was established in the 1866. The burials that were once in the old cemetery in the Village of Sharon were removed to Oakwood.Some of the people who lived in the Sharon area were buried in Burr Oak Cemetery in northern Illinois. Check the northern Illinois section of cemeteries - Boone County / Leroy Township. It has a link to the listings online.
