Constructed in 1871, beautifully renovated. A wonderful expression of Swedish heritage, tradition, craftsmanship and culture. The Erlander is a testimony to the influx of Swedish immigrants who added to the early growth and Scandinavian flavor of Rockford. See examples of many treasures brought to the city by early Swedes including furniture, trunks, carvings, clothing and tools.
