Highlights: - Visit a classic 1857 home, listed
on the National Register of Historical Places. The interior displays a
richness of historical details with parquet floors, ionic columns, ceiling
murals and a free standing stairway complete with an original stained glass
window. Victorian furnishings throughout the house provide insight into
Southwest Rockford's historic importance. In season, enjoy the rose gardens
and throughout the summer, the adjoining founder's garden. Group tours of
10 or more are available by appointment. For reservations call
the Museum.
Hours: - Open every Sunday, May thru October from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.;
Additional tours by appointment. Guided tours begin at 2:00 and 3:00 p.m.
